Yesterday was more difficult, mostly because I didn't eat anything that made it easy to figure out just how much I was eating. I'm really worried that I under-ate, which wouldn't be good, but was afraid to eat more for fear of making it ineffective.

The evening was the hardest part: I felt really hungry, but got through it. After I woke up, I didn't think about food for quite a while.

The tricky part I think is going to be making sure I eat enough. I basically have lunch at work and then my 8 hours take me to right after I finish work. So there's not a lot of time there to eat, plus after not eating too much I don't really feel like stuffing myself. So I think I probably need to find some midday snacks to supplement the meals. I have some raw nuts, but need to come up with others that are convenient for work.

I also have this nagging doubt that this fasting thing is fundamentally a bad idea, but I figure it's worth a try.

Another triumph today: someone brought croissants into the office, and I didn't have one. :)
