Have to face the fact that the "low-carb" thing is just not yielding results. Went to the doctor and was aggravated. One thing was that I am officially on metformin instead of completely on insulin, which could make all the difference in the world. I have elected to stay away from most starchy carbs, but will keep high fiber bread. I will keep lean meat, small amounts of cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables. I am limiting calories only to 1800-2000 per day.
