Happy Saturday morning to you all!
I just got back from meeting my workout buddy for an early morning outdoor run/walk. It was only 32 degrees out, so chilly, but not windy and sunshiny, so it was was actually refreshing. We ran just shy of 2 miles and walked one for a total of 45 min. I then did 15 min of floor exercises at home.

I made Monkey bread for my son's star student snack at school and the rest of the family wanted another one, so I have had that delicious, doughy, buttery, sugary, cinnamony confection sitting on the counter to tempt me at every turn. I have not done well with it here! I resolved this morning not to touch it anymore today. I know what I have eaten of it is sitting directly around my middle. My belly is feeling flabbier and I must pull in the reigns before all my hard work goes away and the flab goes right back on. I am feeling good about my healthy start to the day and want to stay positive to stay on track!!! It does feel very good to feel thin and healthy. Now I need to KEEP it that way! Have a good day everyone.

Ooh! The monkey bread is a difficult treat to resist! Gotta ask. Do you think about particular body parts as you exercise? I don't when I walk because I am either talking with my hubby or clearing my head of the work day stresses. However - when I skip rope - I think of the whole body approach. I concentrate on trimming the jiggly parts on the backs of my arms and trimming my inner and outer thigh areas for bathing suit season. Just wondering. Keep at it! Okay? Okay!

Your run/walks inspire me! I've been trying to run on the treadmill each time I walk on it. I've been able to go longer and longer, but still have a long way to go. Mmmmmm.. monkey bread. Tastes good, but at least you can feel the effects of it and won't be as tempted. Have a great week!
