Finally Spring has arrived in Upstate NY. (we hope) First walk of the season on 4/14 2.11 miles in 41 mins. Probably would have walked much slower for first time out but was trying to beat the rain clouds. The walk felt Great!
I have given up all sweets (not including fruit) for the past two weeks with the exception of one piece of ice cream cake for a co-workers birthday. It was so yummy.
Goal would be to give up breads, potatoes, and pasta all together, but for now will agree to give them up Monday through Friday and only small portions on the weekends.
I'm very thankful to be back to work after being unemployed for 11 months. Hence a big part of the wait gain.
Bring on Summer and the Great Outdoors! :)
