Seem to be able to follow this diet fairly easily - the key thing is to always keep busy. I didn't have my first meal today until 5.30 pm and settled for cups of tea with skimmed milk and pints of water until this. Now will try to stick to 300 cals for 'dinner' at 8.00 and that should see me through until tomorrow morning. Sticking to a target of 500 means that I can be sure that the skimmed milk etc. won't push me over the 600 cals limit!
