Got changed for a GI scan early this morning and had to take my clothes off in front of a full-length mirror. I can honestly say I was so surprised at how thin I am so I am going on maintenance as I am also below 195 now too. I could use more muscle there as I haven't been working out but I am happy at how thin I am. I did it with all of your help - now I have to figure out what will keep me from 188 to 195 permanently so I don't gain - what is my daily maximum allowable carb intake? :) Toto and I may go for a walk in a little while, it is very warm out for here around 50* at least and in the sun much warmer so after weather that was windy and cold and twenty degrees and colder it feels SO WARM. I'm hoping for an early spring, I think we're going to get it...P.S. Dating possibilities still there - younger woman pretty but NO CHEMISTRY. 99% of men would date her I believe over the other woman. I guess even though sometimes I feel very immature as I am not successful materially in life at this stage, I am more mature than I give myself credit for as the older woman and I are much more compatible. Not to say it will last, but she doesn't drive, etc...

Congratulations! Just don't increase overall calories and food, just allow yourself some good complex carbs, especially before long walks with Toto. You will not get too skinny as long as you keep eating enough food, so you don't really have to increase carbs a lot. Just add a little bit every now and then. Good luck on maintenance!

Thanks Sara and Chantazzle - I did it at last was at this weight earlier - but it is my goal now. No more struggling so to speak. If I did it at 260 or so now at below 195 with a slow metabolism from psych meds you all can do it too! I'll stay on for maintenance and to hopefully show others the temporary rewards of stuffing yourself with food don't outweigh the benefits of going into a room with a full-length mirror where I had to strip to my underwear - and instead of gasping at how fat I was I was happy I was thin thanks to the dieting and all of your help and encouragement - don't any of you give up or eat food that is junk every day. It isn't worth it!

If you are happy with how you look that is all that matters. Start getting in the exercise (I know you plan to join the gym soon) and stop worrying about what you weigh. As you get more fit your weight may go up because you are adding muscle mass. Don't stress over the number and instead go by how your clothes fit, how you look, and how you feel.

Thanks slease - I'll try to stay below 200 lbs. I'll probably join a gym once I get tax money back. I'm not sure yet it depends on how much I get back and if my allergies are severe I may wait as I won't be using the gym for months as last year for months I was completely wiped out from the allergies for three months with no extra energy all spring long. I hope as this is the second season with the allergies it will be better. I didn't get them till last year. The dog is getting me walking now anyway...
