Day 6 of my experiment. I am another pound down today so sitting at 213 lbs. So the experiment seems to have broken the stall. I believe the key is keep the carbs low and keeping the overall daily calories at or below my RDI. I will keep watching and focusing on how this moves forward. I think I may keep this going for an additional week to see any discoveries that will allow me to permanently tweak my eating. One discovery for me so far is this: It's not only important to have "on plan" foods around, it is also important to plan them out so you know that they fit into your macros and RDI. At the end of every day, I plan the meal for my next day and leave some "leeway" for any additions (mostly fat or protein addition). If I consume less than I plan, that's OK; what I have to watch is consuming more than I plan. I have been able to keep on or just under my planned RDI. It's all very interesting and I discover what will work for me.
