I'm going to have a tiny, little "yay" for myself for sticking to my plan yesterday, and I even had a little weight drop this morning. I ate little, went to sleep early, and I think this will be it, a new good start. I have plans for keeping myself in good shape this weekend because I have three events I have to "swim" through. Friday night, plans with my father-in-law. I always eat too much with him. I love him, but he loves food. So I'm sending all the boys out to dinner, and I am gonna stay home. Maybe I'll paint! :))

Saturday night, with family, Chinese food at my folks' house for my brother's birthday. They are all healthy eaters. I'll just order what my mom always gets -- steamed veggies and shrimp.

Sunday night, that will be the hardest. We're going to Italian for my best friend's hubby's birthday. I think I'm gonna look at their menu before I go and decide. Luckily, it's at 5:00. So I'm not quite in my danger zone of emotional eating yet. I fell into a trap on Monday with my hubby's birthday. I got too hungry, and we went out too late. So I ate too much. Gotta stay away from those sweet wines that I love so much!

All in all, I'm pretty pleased! And the kids go back to school on Monday!! Love havin' them around. But it's not very good for my diet!

Hope everyone is having a great day!!!!!!!

oooh ooh for the Italian food place, see if they have soup. They most often have like a vegetable or minestrone soup at those places. Not only is its healthier, its usually the cheapest thing on the menu! and *high five* for yesterday

Congrats on the loss. Great idea to plan ahead what you will order. I do that too and it always helps.

I go to Lifetime Fitness - it's a chain. She's in PM K so we go together in the AM. She usually complains about going, but likes it when she's there (kinda like us with working out!) Good luck with the outings this weekend - I've done WW before, and luckily, you can kinda "bank your points" but you have to be honest with yourself when you are eating the weekend points otherwise, as you know, it won't work. Keep it up - your chart looks good!!

You sound like you are making good plans to handle your weekend diet mines. For the Italian food, I would recommend a veal piccata with a side of spaghetti and marinara sauce. That's what I often get at our favorite neighbourhood Italian restaurant and it is a relatively good choice. The veal is in a lemon sauce which is angelic compared to any of the cream sauces and the pasta is the most diet friendly version you can find. Just keep your portions in control and bring home a doggy bag with any "extras". You'll do fine. And congrats on the successful day and loss!

Hi Sweetie! Good for you with the drop!! Have you figured out what you are going to order at Buca? The trick is to plan ahead. You will do it!

I was thinking the salmon. But I'm only gonna eat half. And no sauce. Or just a salad.

That's lucky you have people around you who are healthy eaters. Makes for better choices all around when you're surrounded by healthier options! Congrats on the drop!
