I weighed this morning .. yikes! Before I get to that, the movie with the kids was great last night. It was wonderful to have quality time with them after being away for two weeks. My weigh-in was quite interesting, I show a 2 lb gain since I left. I fully expect my on plan eating to take care of that over the next weeks since I plan to keep my carbs between 20 and 25 by preparing the food myself. It's great being able to track what I am eating again to see how much carb is actually being consumed and how it is affecting my body in terms of weight loss. I had a lot of dairy on my trip but it was very high fat. I think the biggest issue was probably the 'hidden carbs'. Even though I made what I thought was low carb choices, I really didn't know how the food was cooked and I did not have access to the nutritional information to see how many carbs I was actually consuming. I was having about 20 carbs per day before I left so I am pretty sure I went above that when I was away - it all makes sense to me. I am pumped and ready to be back on track. Next challenge: Christmas!
