So, wow. Whole new outlook on things.
I talked on Skype for over 90 minutes to my friend in Germany. She invited me to walk with her and another of her friends in the Rome Marathon on March 20, 2011. She will even buy my flight to Europe...unless the soon-to-be husband decides to travel too, then he can buy it. :)
I found a training schedule online and began it today. (progress will be noted in the journal entry with the exercise...still don't like the exercise journal here). It's a 6 month schedule so I had to modify it to fit the almost 4 months I have until mid-March. I'm kind of excited about training, and could REALLY get excited about going to Europe! And walking this much, at this pace, should really get the weight moving...and of course then it will be easier to walk at all! Yay!
Now to stay this motivated.
