Not much to say this week. Weight loss has slowed, but still steady. Total lost is 70 pounds. Ongoing battle with depression. Heel pain still significant and prevents walking for exercise. Going to the lake this weekend. Maybe that will help my mood. Continue current plan.

Sorry you are still suffering with heel. I think you would feel better if you can get out and walk. Have you thought about possibly doing volunteer phone work, like checking on elderly. n😷🙏🤗

I have an HMO so will need to get a referral from my primary care physician for a podiatrist. I have an appointment for Oct 1st with my PCP and will get a referral then. Volunteer work is a possibility thank you for the suggestion. I have trouble focusing and staying out of bed when the depression hits hard. Something to keep me busy would be helpful. I have a job I work out of my home now, so that keeps me going sometimes.

I hope you are taking the 70lbs loss as a victory. Let that be a small weapon against depression. You seem so lovely. Depression sucks. How eloquent of me, eh?

Foot pain sucks! I injured my foot at the start of COVID and am having a hard time finding replacements for my usual physical activity. Biking, short walks, and floor exercises are helping me keep my sanity. My doctor also gave me a strong anti-inflammatory to help with bad days. Hope you know you aren't alone!

Great job on your 70lb loss that is a big accomplishment! 🎉👍 For your heel pain try applying ice to the heel for 10 to 15 minutes twice a day. Also a good insole always helps for heel & foot pain. Good luck on your healthy lifestyle journey!! Feel better & stay safe! 🍀👍🌻😊😷

My wife is having similar foot pain & the Dr suggested to ice 🧊 the feet in a bucket. Complete merge up to the ankle. Biggest reason for the pain, large calcium deposits.

I definitely understand depression I went through it a few years ago and believe me it wasn't at all pretty I was crying for no reason at all and thinking all kinds of bad thoughts so one night I remember it was very cold outside and snow was on the ground I went outside and threw my hands up and said I give it all to you Lord and I kept praying and I love music so it was a comfort to me and like a few months later I suddenly felt better I'm not saying I don't have anxiety but I'm not at all like I use to be I have found ways to have less stress in my life and I believe you can make it through it as well just take it one day at a time and remember don't worry about the things you can't control have a blessed day
