Eh? Is this even healthy?

I've been losing 2-4 pounds a week now... and although I love the feeling of stepping on a scale and seeing it read less and less each time, it still bothers me about how much I'm losing. I read everywhere I go that the healthy limit of losing weight is 2 pounds per week, although that's probably just an average. I feel healthy, I'm not starving myself, I'm young, I'm exercising a good 250-350 calories off a day, and eating about 300-400 calories below my BMR each day (since my BMR is so high, my doctor told me it was OK to do so), and yet it still worries me.

Is 2-4 pounds a week unhealthy, or am I just being paranoid? Either way, I'm glad to see that counting calories is working so well... losing weight is TOO easy :)

Guys tend to lose weight faster than women. If you are eating enough calories to maintain proper nutrition for you body than I wouldn't worry too much. You can always increase your calories a little. Weight loss usually slows as you get closer to goal. How much weight you lose is based on many factors such as: age, sex, activity level, diet plan, genetics, etc.
