Today was a big step for me to sign up for this online community. Since I am an only child, I always feel that I have to depend solely on myself. I realized over the summer when I was involved in a weight loss and fitness challenge the importance of having people who care about you to motivate and encourage you. I want to lose the weight for several reasons. First and most importantly, I have a family history of diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease and I don't want to experience any of those health issues. Secondly, I have a four-year old that I want to play with without getting tired or winded. And lastly, I want to look great in my clothes and naked. I have always liked to wear fitted outfits and you just can't do that with rolls. So today, I make a commitment to eat healthier, record what I eat, exercise regularly, share my challenges and my triumphs with other members. Always have an encouraging word for others on this weight loss journey and just try to have as much fun as possible.
