POWENCH's Journal, 01 September 2008

Well cold and blustery here...first taste of winter as there is snow on the high peaks this morning. Got up with my ww buddy and did the 4 mile walk and stopped at the gym for a somewhat slacker session there...but hey, better than eating doughnuts at the coffee shop!

I am doing some light housework and contemplating the challenges of keeping to my exercise as winter hits. I have really come to depend on my morning walks...but hopefully can change them to lunch or afternoon walks as the weather becomes colder. It really is my preference for cardio exercise.

I still feel like my weightloss progress is very slow. I weighted on my scales this morning which is a bit off from the ww scales and am still sitting at 230...would sure like to be in the 220's tomorrow when I weigh in officially. Guess we will see.

I am making a healthy lamb stew in the crock pot for dinner. It will hopefully feel good on a cold, stormy day.
