Doing well. The weather has been fantastic, 70s today. I went with my aunt, my dad and my aunt's friend Marie Paul out to eat, then we went up into the Berkshires where my dad owns some land by a lake. It is so beautiful up there. I'm hoping if I get published he'll let me build a cabin up there for the family someday. I imagine it happening so it will. I'll be certain the family doesn't sell the land if my dad passes on so when I get successfully published a place can be built up there, and the lake is private. Dieiting going so-so, better than it has been. I am doing much better emotionally than I have in months since the pain in my back isn't there constantly. In time I will move to a better apartment, but one doesn't need a huge place to live when they're alone and an aspiring writer. I just need a better, quieter place and it's just a short time and before I know it I'll be moved to a better and bigger apartment. Dating is forget it - no women will date me as I have no car, so they know my income isn't great because of this so don't bother contacting me or emailing back except to be obnoxious. Since that is all I am meeting I doubt I will ever seriously get involved with American women again. I will look overseas once I'm published. I plan to get out exercising walking more frequently in the coming weeks before the bitter cold of winter when everyone is stuck indoors...

Hi GlennM and Information, this morning I acted on my woman's intuition and referred another person of male persuasion to you guys as I thought he would benefit from having you two as buddies. It's fine with me, and info probably has the most friends of anyone on FS. One guy who became a buddy a few months back said it was hard for the guys on here as mostly women are on here and tend to comment on other female journals, but I mentioned info as a glaring example of that not being so...

The magic of Information was I didn't care or know what sex he was in the first months that I was his buddy. I thrived on the kind words he wrote to me and spread around this site. It is contagious because it is like having a diary that speaks back kindly to me. Gender shouldn't really matter when it comes to giving each other support. We're all in this together!
