I injured my ankle somehow at my allotment at the end of May, it's either tendons or ligament injury. An allotment is a big vegetable plot usually on a site away from the house, I have 2 and they are in what was a field, set on a slope. So all summer I haven't been able to do much exercise- that includes looking after the allotments because I've been told to rest my ankle- the result I have of course put weight on by being immobile for most of the time. Now, some days it's fine- no pain at all, like yesterday. So what did I do- I went to the allotment to clear out the greenhouse and poly tunnel. I walked there, 20 minutes up hill, 2 hours of pottering and 20 minutes walking back- result- a very, very sore ankle. So no doing much standing around or walking today.
