I am still 20lb from my goal. But, with an average .5 lb a day loss, that is only about 30 - 40 days away. I lost 11lb in one month. When I look at it that way, I am more motivated. It has been a long journey, and a hard one, but I have learned a new way of eating and feel confident that my weight will not be a problem anymore.

I added butter to my diet yesterday and for the first time in a long time, ate a big meal. I was actually hungry.

You are doing awesome. .5 a pound a day is 3.5 pounds a week. I am averaging right at 3.5 pounds a week also. I hope it keeps up at this rate for the both of us. I still feel really motivated too. Sure we are going to have days where we are ready to throw in the towel but each day we prove to ourselves that with a little hard work and determination we can lose this weight! I have days where I am hungry too and so I panic when I eat to much or have more of something than I should but it never seems to affect my losing. Some nights when we have tacos I have two carb balance tortilla shells and although it bumps me out of ketosis for about 1/2 a day I still lose weight. Keep it up & if you're hungry - eat and don't worry about it.
