I haven't done any exercise today but I'm watching a great movie titled I Could Never Be Your Woman starring Michelle Pheiffer. Very cute movie...
Anyway, since I didn't go to work I didn't force myself to eat breakfast. Bad, I know, but whatever. So, at about noon I felt like I wanted to eat. I planned to hit the kitchen for whatever was in there. These next 17 days will be tight for me financially so I have to force myself to eat all of what I have in the kitchen before going grocery shopping again. Well, when I opened the fridge I discovered that my "mostly vegetarian" daughter brought home pork ribs from work. She works in a little grocery store. She said that yesterday they (the store) were bbq'ing and selling the cooked ribs. One customer forgot her ribs and never came back for them. At the end of the evening when the store closed she didn't want to throw the ribs away so she brought them home last night.
I ate 4 of them. They were most excelente, a great compliment to the tomato and onion that I cut and ate with them.
Tonight I shall cook another pot of red beans and steam some rice. I got them soaking right now. I love beans, especially red beans.
I was going to defrost some ribeye that my brother gave me but since I indulged at lunch I'll postpone eating ribeye.
