I usually start preparing all of my yogurts the same by first mashing a ripe banana in the bowl as a base and natural sweetener, also I like the way it thickens the consistency of the yogurt. Then I add 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt (I like Chobani non-fat plain Greek yogurt because I found it has the least sugar of the other brands in my local market with 4g sugar.) then I add 1-2 Tbls ground flaxseed, 1/2-1 Tsp cinnamon because it helps regulate your blood sugar which is a super plus as a diabetic🙃 oh and its delicious.😁So then, I’ll either add in a Tbls of Adams 100% Natural unsalted creamy peanut butter or fruit/berries. Today I did 3 pureed strawberries. What are some of your favorite ways to make your yogurt?!😀😋

@SoHangry Yes it is, I’ve officially replaced my overnight oats with yogurt.🙃

I like to mix it with fruit or granola, or both. I like Chobani, also. I was having yogurt every morning for breakfast, but lately I've switched to bagels and cream cheese. When I soon get tired of bagels, I will most likely go back to yogurt. 🙂

I recall a time not too long ago when I mixed in a little bit of sugar free instant pudding in my overnight oats. 😋

Ooh that’s different..Sounds good. Lol and who gets tired of bagels 🥯 and cream cheese 😄 I’d have a daily bagel too if I could but it would do me more harm than good at this point. @SoHangry

I'll have to try the flaxseed. I imagine it's got loads of fiber.

Im on an oatmeal and vanilla protien powder kick. The protien powder gives plain oats alittle sweetness plus ups my protien a bit.

Me too. I add a little milk to mine but may try to find some healthier options since I already add a little milk to my coffee too. I have one of those seen-on-tv type deals from Amazon where I cook my oatmeal every morning in the microwave for 2 minutes and it comes out perfect. It's a microwave oatmeal cooking bowl and saves me a lot of time and motivation. I never can make myself do stovetop cooking in the morning before work, too much rush and too little time.

@Diana I love oatmeal, especially overnight oats.. But I needed a low carb alternative. And I found yogurt,( which I rarely use to eat by the way) now works for me.🙃

@KetoBruce I buy the Chobani Non-fat plain Greek yogurt and prepare it at home if you look in the comments There is an example if you’re interested in making like this as well, to your preference of course everyone’s taste buds are different.. I don’t like anything too sweet or unnecessary added sugar/sweetener some might want to add a sweetener, if so monkfruit sweetener is a great option.🙃

@paperbackstash Exactly! That’s why I loved overnight oats. Just toss everything in a container and it’s ready to go in the AM. I’ve never made oatmeal in the microwave, I have to give it a try when I have an oatmeal day.But for now, my yogurt takes literally a minute,is low carb and super satisfying.😀

Thank you, Lotus2911. I agree on the sweeteners. I just taste as I go easy on them. I have to be careful... Too Damm sweet already😁
