I'm definitely frustrated right now! I know I haven't been on here for awhile but I didn't think I was doing or eating anything differently! Grrr!!! I have been eating healthy such as chicken, veggies, stirfries, yogurt, fruit, etc! I also have been working out! Maybe it's the stress of the last week of school and I have a ton of papers! I hope today is a water weight day! I feel like giving up and it's so frustrating because I don't want to! I think I might do the first two weeks of south beach starting next Monday(that always seemed to work for me to lose 6-8 lbs and I actually can keep it off!) and then start the zigzag diet right after that! I'm pretty bummed out about this and I'm not making excuses, I just don't understand!?

There's a lot of unexplained gaining and stalling going on in fatsecretland lately. We've been trying to figure out the cause... cosmic shift? full moon? Who knows? Just hang in there. Something's gotta give!

As a veteran of Grad school I can attest that papers are high in both calories and saturated fats. But if you have a bunch of papers to do now that probably signals the end of the quarter and a great opportunity to reassert yourself. And as a fellow black lab owner, Ok she is a mutt but she is a pure bred American mutt and looks like she has some lab in her, I suggest that you add in a walk at the end of the day. I have started taking her for an extra walk in the evenings after dinner and it has proven therapeutics. I burn off some extra calories and stress, clear my head, sometime even come up with paper ideas, while she sniffs stuff, gets all the latest in puppy gossip and burns up a little of the energy she stores up napping all day. Dogs also get very in to their routine so it will only take a few days before your pooch expects the walk and will "assist" you in getting motivated and taking a walk by jumping around the house, whining at the door, nudging you etc..
