I just had one of those days were i was hungry all day!! I had some self control though and stayed within my pts. but lets just say i ate a lot of free foods. Has anyone else had days like this and if so what did you do to control it? Its probably just in my head, but i really felt like i needed to eat.

You did well. I have those days, too, so I know how hard it is. How do I control them? Lots of water to keep myself full and I try to preoccupy my mind with something else. Try not to think about food. I know easier said than done! But you can do it! I got advice once to find something you really love (anything but eating...) and excel at it. I'm still looking for my thing.

You should always have a pot of free vegetable soup in the fridge and keep it for when you need it. Carrots, capsicum, cucumber and celery and good stand buys.

How much water are you drinking a day? If you're dehydrated, makes you feel like your hungry.

hey daydayre, I get those days all the time! (Sometimes it's due to my monthly visitor, I get super hungry the couple of days before.) Sometimes I get hungry just because. I have a theory that your body is adjusting to your weight loss at that point. When I feel the way you are describing, I always feel like my body is hungry and is trying to get me to eat more food but if I don't, then I figure, THAT is when it goes to the "fat stores" and uses that for energy (yay!) instead of the carbs/sugars/food that would be imeediately available in my system if I ate more. It's a vague and simplistic way to picture the whole process of losing weight and dieting, but it is enough to keep me from the peanut butter jar or the ice cream I know is in the freezer! I know I keep saying this, but "hang in there!"
