I wish that my eating was as under control as my exercise program. I feel really good about the routine that I have established and enjoy the gym so much. Very peaceful, no one really making demands of me--a switch from the rest of my life. I don't mind the 4:30 AM wakeup nearly as much anymore...the routine is soothing.

Evening is tough. I just want to eat as soon as the evening meal has worn off, I want munchies...not veggies or healthy stuff! CARBS!!! Toast! Cookies! Cheese-its! I'm working on getting this under wraps. I think I will struggle with this eternally.

Aw, evenings can be difficult, especially if you're feeling hungry. Have you tried eating high fibre foods? I find that helps fill me up, then I don't crave to munch later on. I've become rather an addict to honeydew melon and strawberries together if I get desperate! So perhaps you can find something you do like, but is lower in carbs.

I can't offer much help either - evening are my downfall, too. One thing that has helped me lately is that I eat a fairly large snack (4-5 pts) at 4pm (I eat dinner at 6pm). Other than that, just keep plugging away and as long as you never quit, you can never fail!
