This is the part that is all about "I"-me. Look what I can do!!

You know in the scheme of things I am doing really well on my exercising. I have not been tracking but I have doing a vigorous workout 3-5 days a week and the days I don't do a hard workout I generally at least get a good walk or something fun with the kids outside in. I am losing a little at a time still but the best part is without tracking I am at least maintaining what I am doing. Tracking helps keep you accountable but if you pay attention to what you eat and remember to make good choices anyone can do it. Tracking does help it shows you the actual damage you are or are not doing.

I can see results all over me. I am down another pant size even though I have only lost a few pounds since I was really tracking. I feel better than ever before and the workouts are a nice rush that keeps me motivated. I try to eat as healthy as I can remember to but there are weak days that I just want to be bad and that is okay as long as I can keep myself motivated and accountable. It has been close to two years since I started this journey and I am doing well. I just need to remember its a lifelong (lifestyle) change and even when I get down to my goal weight, which will be great, I will still have to work harder and harder each day to maintain I cannot backslide.

Since beginning my journey:
I have lost 67 pounds,
gone down from a size 18 all the way down to a 10/12,
changed my habits at home from always sitting around to getting up and going,
I have so much more energy!
my house stays cleaner,
enjoy more time outside (kids are loving it),
I am quicker and more focused in daily life,
my family and I are closer,
I am a more positive person,
I can actually run!-still not as long or far as I would like but being able to build up is part of the fun!
I enjoy buying clothing more each time I go -and I get to go more frequently due to necessity for a different size problem YAY.
I am more confident!

When I think about all the changes that I have made I am so thankful that I saw that picture taken in November 2010 and chose to do something rather than just hide behind the camera the rest of my life. Every day I am thankful in at least one way. I try to remember its not a race its more of a tournament that can go on as long as I make the choice to keep on, or at least close to my path.
