So I have an appointment at OU tomorrow and their restaurants there don’t have ANY nutritional information. If I eat there it would be a chicken quesadilla. Any idea how to determine how to log it? Can’t weigh it. Similar to a tropical smoothie quesadilla in size with way less meat and has some herbs and tomatoes. Not near the size tortilla of those at Taco Bell or taco mayo but about the same meat and probably about the same amount of cheese but not the same kind. THIS is what I hate about eating out. Not knowing if I’m making a healthy choice or not.
I’m not big on paying $10 for a sandwich, chips and drink (I can make it at home for like $2) and almost everything they have has things I don’t eat like diced olives and mushrooms.
My other option is tropical smoothie cafe and grab a smoothie with protein (250kcal) and a breakfast wrap(430) or breakfast quesadilla (590) for a total of 40-45g protein depending on which I get. Then on the way home it’ll be the same. Or I’ll just bring a protein bar. Driving makes me super hungry and I’ll stop at a gas station for snacks if I don’t have a plan in place. Assuming after all this rain I can even get out of my drive! The bus had issues today and the driver rarely has issues in mud. Will have to cancel/reschedule if it’s too bad. 4 miles of dirt road to get to the highway. Can go 2 miles but that takes me the long way, adds 30-45 minutes as I have to go through a big city and that way is less dirt road but tends to be worse as far as water saturation and people ending up in the ditch. Less steps to get home if I end up in the ditch or stuck though haha. Always a bright side if ya look for it! But again, not going means not officially having some restrictions lifted. And I’m ready to start working out again and would like to start short jogging trips or sprints again. But in this rain and mud that may be challenging (our yard is a creek mostly and the rest is sipping wet!).
