I did some research on gluten. I seem to have at least half of the 14 signs. So I want to do an experiment. I get paid tomorrow and will do our grocery shopping Monday. Can anyone tell me exactly what I can or can't have. I know gluten is wheat, buckwheat and rye. I also found out anything soy does. But I read rice is ok. To me it seems to be alot like a Keto diet.

you can try Ezekiel bread which uses sprouted grains instead of flour and yeast. look for it in the freezer section. The Ezekiel hamburger buns are excellent.

Look for almond, rice, corn flour or anything that is not wheat, Buckwheat is actually groats or seeds which is not a wheat product and is gluten free??? They sell buckwheat pancakes at I-hop.. Now it seems they are many Gluten free breads, in the freezer section of Whole Foods here !!! Luckys markets also make or bake a fresh one !!!

it can also be fructans in the wheat. I would not buy a lot of non wheat items to test, try one or two so if you have a problem with them you did not invest a lot that you need to toss out.

Not keto: there are several components to keto. Keto has no gluten because wheat is out; however, so is sugar and sweetener. And the other part of LCHF: high fat. Also, rice is right out! Keto avoids starches, not gluten.

keto is a super low carb like 20 grams, so no, it is not a lot like keto, but reducing refined carbs is never a bad thing in my mind.

Gluten does not exist in soy, just soy sauce because they use wheat to process it.
