everyone is different and this site is a bit overgenerous with the calorie burn. check online for a calorie calculator and put in sedentary for your activity level. It will also ask age and weight. it will give you a basic number for your calorie burn rate then you need to drop enough calories from that to get a modest weight loss. You can use any extra exercise as a bonus to help with your calorie burn. I was in the 800 to 900 range for a long time while I was dropping the majority of my weight, I recently raised it to be in the 1300 to 1400 range. I still have a lot of fat hanging on but close to my goal weight. I have a lot of muscle growing to make it all work.
