I've been stalled for quite some time. I'm eating under what my doctor says my basal metabolic rate is but the weight is hanging around. Some life circumstances have changed so I'm not able to get to the gym all the time so my exercise level is down. I'm pretty frustrated.

A lot of things will impact weight loss. Getting proper sleep and a habitual pattern of when you go to sleep and when you wake up, healthy eating, and some activity. Even if you can’t get to a gym, try to do something from taking a walk, or even pacing around the house or office a bit. If it doesn’t change after a couple weeks, maybe your doctor was wrong? Try another doctor or see if you can meet with a qualified nutritionist or dietician.
