Bleech! One yucky week leads to this...

Not only have I gained weight, I'm laid off for about six weeks. Double bleech!

On the bright side, I am going to push myself in these six weeks to do more exercise than I have been doing. After all, there's nowhere particular for me to be at any particular time for awhile...

The community centre near my house has a gym with a weight room, so I'm going to be checking that out today. Plus, there's an outdoor rink only about a half hour walk from my house. My boyfriend promised me we'll go skating on Sunday. (That's his only day off this week.)

I know what helps me lose, so I just have to get back into those good habits. I guess I shouldn't have indulged so much over Christmas, but I just felt that I could keep off any weight because I had already lost so much. It's that whole attitude of "Oh, it's just a little bit of chocolate...just a tiny bit of cake...just one martini...and maybe just another for the road...oh, another won't hurt..." Bit of a slap in the face really. I wasn't being at all realistic. So NOW I REALLY have to move my sorry little butt a little more.
162.9 lb Lost so far: 65.1 lb.    Still to go: 32.9 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
