Today I am starting the Flat Belly Detox to get my body back on track. I have really let my eating habits get out of control. My annual physical is the end of this month, so I would like to be in the 150s before that appointment.

Early morning working out went well. Also worked out while out of town during my board meeting. Almost had too seeing that we ate so late and heavy, lots of steak dinners. If I hadn't at least walked after returning from dinner, I would have never been able to sleep.

Signed up to participate in a 5K Run on October 17th. I sure hope I don't completely embarrass myself. Have to really step up my workouts between now and then so that I can manage to make the entire course, hopefully not finishing dead last :)

Here are pictures of our puppies I have been promising. They were 6 weeks old Wednesday. We've sold 3 so far. Fancy had a total of 9 puppies this litter. She's not a huge dog either. 9 was a lot for her to handle, but she did great. They have been eating softened puppy food since they were 4 weeks old trying to give Fancy a bit of a break. Also give them powdered goats milk.

omg the puppies are soo cute!! and i'm so out of the loop...what's the Flat Belly detox?

It is a diet put out by Prevention Magazine. I can email you some details on it when I get home. It is about eating "mufas" MonoUnSaturated Fats which are good for you. It is supposed to help with bloat. There is a detox program where you eat 1200 calories and drink water for 4 days. There is a specific plan as to what you eat. Google Flat Belly Diet and you will find some information. I actually have the book my mom had bought me last year. Not sure the links work here. If not, will post in a journal where links are accepted. This is a UK version of the diet, but the foods are pretty similar to the ones the US version recommends for the first 4 days.
