Not a big change over the weekend - just wanted to see what hanging around the house did for me, weight-wise.
I really want to try this whole jogging/running thing. I have to build up to running, having never really done more than run around bases in softball when I was a kid or run for a bus now that I'm an adult. Running seems like such a foreign thing to me.
When I was younger, (ages 8 to 16ish) I played softball in summer. And in winter I played ringette. (I'm more of a winter sports girl - ringette, snowshoeing, curling, cross-country skiing.) Softball was just okay in my eyes. Summer was for riding your bike and swimming at the beach and playing badminton in the backyard. I'm sure I ran as a kid, but it was probably to beat someone to the swings or for some other purpose. I never ran in school races. I was always a chunky child and if I wasn't on ice skates, I wasn't very fast and, therefore, always the last. I have never run for the running, if that makes sense.
I guess this all seems a little random and rambling this morning...
