Trying to eat normally with smaller portions of the nice but naughty seems to be the best way forwards! Trouble is willpower is next to nothing when faced with a friend offering cherry 🍒 & sultana scones!😊
186.8 lb Lost so far: 13.2 lb.    Still to go: 22.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

These social situations can be hard to navigate. My solution would be just spread a thin layer of jam. No butter or cream. And leave some big crumbs! Washed down with lashings of tea.

I suggest finding a way to tell your friends that, you really appreciate the love they show by sharing handmade yummies, however, you’re on a calorie-controlled diet, and will power is under pressure. There is a way of doing it without rejecting them or making them feel guilty. If they love to bake, say, and if you’re up to a challenge, can you make a version with 150 calories a portion?
