FATinIRAQ's Journal, 14 March 2009

Day 10 of FatSmash Phase 1 and I weighed in (time stamp is wrong.... it is March 15 here). I started Fatsecret on Day 3 of Phase 1 and was 87 kg (1 kg less than 2 days prior). The diet (and joining Fatsecret)was out of frustration as I had started exercising 2 weeks before starting the diet and while I lost a few centimeters off my waist, I didn't lose any weight at all! Now, 10 days later... I am 84.5 kg!!! Is it really possible to lose so much in 1 week? Or is some of this delayed loss from the 2 weeks prior when I lost nothing... Either way I am happy, but worried I will gain it back in Phase 2.
186.3 lb Lost so far: 5.5 lb.    Still to go: 45.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congratulations!!!! Thats wonderful!!!! Sometimes it takes a while for the weight to start coming off. Thats why you should wait till the 10th day to weight yourself so you dont become discouraged. Dont be concerned about phase 2. As long as your exercising you will have no problem. You may not lose as quickly as you did in phase 1, but you will lose if you stick to it. Phase 1 is really to get you jump started, clean out your system, give you a good starting foundation, and probably to give your body some shock. Your body responds to shocks very well. =o) Keep up the good work!!!

I am so PROUD of you...things have been crazy for me lately so for not writing soon! You have a great loss, I knew you would! 5.5 is awesome and don't worry, as long as you stick with what you are doing and continue to exercise you will have no problem keeping it off! I wish you nothing but the very best!!
