Starting on Metformin. Metformin apparently can help to maintain a deeper ketosis by denying the body from initiating gluconeogenesis. I had trouble keeping Metformin down before as my meal sizes, small meals 3 times a day, were too small to counter the diarrhea. Now that I am stacking all my food in one large meal in the morning I can take metformin without worrying about stomach aches and diarrhea due to not eating enough with the pill.
