So far, so good today. I'm going to try to eat better and do a protein shake for my morning snack. I had my shake this morning and it was great. I used a strawberry powder from Hy-Vee and soy milk and it was delicious, so I think I can stick to that. We'll see how I do this evening, that is the worst eating time for me, but I'm going to make the effort to be more aware of what I'm eating and how much.
I was going to take the dogs for a walk this evening, but my joints are so sore I don't know if I'll be able to do that. I'll take a pain pill and see if that helps. I think the puppy is needing more exercise and I know no one else will do it, so at least a walk around the block would be good.
My goal for the rest of the week is to stick to my protein shake for snack and eating fewer calories in the evening at dinner. I can do this!

I love the idea of protein shake in the morning! As the summer approaches and I start craving cooler food in the morning (instead of hot coffee), this might be the best solution ever! It'll be less calories that my usual coffee + sausage&egg muffin, but more filling with more protein and better nutritional value in general!

If you want to change it up... I do 8 ounces of COLD unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop of designer whey powder (I just like the taste best) and 1 to 1/2 tablespoons of sugar / fat free instant pudding mix. Mix it up in a blender bottle (best 8.00 I ever spent! zero clumps, easy to clean) or blender, shaker and walk out the door. Tips - great thing is with 3 flavors of powder and choc, banana, cheesecake etc puddings theres combos so you don't get bored. If you mix and refrigerate for 30 to 60 min or more it gets nice and thick but not too thick. I do mine the night before for the am. Great sub for ice cream, kinda like a shake. Only thing I have found is that the choc pudding I can do a tablespoon and others I need alittle more to get the same thickness.

Although I think I told you that before LOL, sorry! It's my new find and I'm telling everyone. After a year using Myoplex carb advantage I have converted 3 people :-). So happy with the friend that told me about it since I get bored with a flavor fast.
