Caution Rant Ahead....
I don't think I'll make it through work today. Woke up with a headache and I'm extremely tired. Luckily, I have a great boss who is understanding, and okay if I leave. Also, I have to take my son to his picnic for cub scouts tonight and there will be about 20 boys there, so that's not going to be great on the headache. I'm going to try to get a nap in before we go.
I didn't do well with my eating yesterday. We had a graduation reception and they had taco salad and fruit, so really not too bad there, and a small piece of cake. But, then when I ate supper I ate too much and had a couple of snacks last night, so I ended up going a little overboard. I'm feeling it today. I think part of my eating was because I was so tired, and when I'm tired, it's like I eat to stay awake.
Now my RANT--My hubby asks me why I'm tired and I'm like, well, I have to be up with the puppy at night, and work all week, and deal with the kids, and do everyday life things. He works also, but when he sleeps the puppy is in his kennel, so his sleep is uninterrupted, he has quiet time on his days off with no kids until 3, then on his weekend day off I'm always the one who gets up with the puppy and wakes up with the kids in the a.m. while he sleeps in. I tell you sometimes he just doesn't think!! Why am I tired? Well, all weekend I was working on cleaning at home, grocery shopping, getting up with the puppy, hoe the garden, pull weeds, ride 3 hours total to & from graduation reception, be at graduation reception, laundry, make dessert for boy scouts, deal with grumpy kids, workout, and things I'm probably not even thinking of. Do you know what he did while I was doing this? He played with the kids for about 20-30 mins. total all weekend, then he mostly watched TV, played XBox, and slept on the couch because he was tired. Watching me do all these things with no offer to help. Granted, he does do yard work during the week and will make supper about half the time, so I have to give him some credit there, but he has 3 days off and seems to have so much more down time than I do.--End of Rant.
If anyone read all that, sorry to be so long winded. I am going to try to be more positive this week, maybe after my headache is gone. Hope everyone has a great week!!

I do the eating when I'm tired too. The body thinks that extra calories will make up for the lack of sleep. As for the rant thing - you have every right to ask for more help from your husband. I get into exactly the same thing with my boyfriend. We live together, and I'm constantly doing all the little and big things around the house that just have to be done, while he's playing with his computer. Once in a while (usually when I'm very tired, or during pms), my patience capacity overflows and I have a huge tantrum about it. In the next couple of days my bf becomes super helpful, cleans the whole house, and keeps asking what else he can do to help out :) and then it's back to usual... I think it's just so much harder for men to remember to do all this things automatically. It's not like they mean bad, they just don't understand\remember\notice. PS: Not all of them, of course. I used to have a boyfriend with OCD, who would clean up my house every time I went away for a weekend, did all the chores, and then complained that I was not responsible enough :)

same deal here. I don't want to rant about it on your page--but, I TOTALLY COULD!! You are in good company...there are no judgments from us in the bf/hubby complaint department. We are way bias and on your side LOL.
