I am focusing on losing fat this week, but of course I found something new to obsess about. Staying in ketosis. I keep thinking that I am going to "kick myself out" of ketosis, but from my research that isn't necessarily true. I want to stay in a fat adapted stage because that is what I have been noticing. I am really happy with this way of eating because I am losing fat in places that I never thought possible. I have had saddle bags forever and now they are slowly going away. It is hard to believe that I am steadily progressing.

Wow that’s really encouraging to hear! So happy for you. Keep doing what you’re doing if it’s working! I’ve been on low carb for 2 weeks and I’ve only lost like 2 lbs. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. I heard the first week people drop like 5-7 lbs. I guess 2lbs is still better thanks gaining the weight. Do you work out apart from eating healthy?

@moonmash- I am currently going to a weight loss center. The first week I had little to no carbs for a week and it was terrible. I lost 8 lbs that week. I think you have to rid your body of the carbs so it can begin to use fat as an energy source. I do exercise as well. As you know weight loss is 80% diet and only 20% exercise. I do believe it is helping with fat burning too.
