Record low weight today.
We tried a new kind of Southern Fried Potato with our Sunday brunch and made it with sweet potatoes.
Added some rosemary, onions and garlic. It turned out to be quite tasty.
Time for a siesta before settling down to watch F1....

The potatoes sound interesting, I might give them a go sometime. Probably not this weekend though - it's our last roast for a couple of weeks and the OH prefers traditional. Plain roast chicken, stuffing, roasties and veg later, after the GP and the Liverpool/Arsenal match. Enjoy your afternoon!

we tried sweet potatoes as we had no real tatties in the house. They turned out really tasty but they benefitted from being parboiled first (took salted water to the boil and added chopped up sweet potato. turned off the heat and let them sit for 10 to 15 mins). Added a hint of dried rosemary to the potato, onion, garlic as it cooked in some hot oil. also find that covering the frying pan helps to steam the potatoes and break down the fibres
