It#s a bit of a hassle. But it does keep me aware of how much I eat

I used to. I found it helpful to write down everything I put into something (I measure everything - have to) then it's easier to total and divide per serving. If it's something I make frequently I add it to my food library to reuse.

It is a bit of a hassle for the homemade stuff, but for me it is worth it for the accuracy.

I feel your pain Nashagrove. You can save the ingredients that make up the meal as a Meal. I find its easier to save a meal on the Mobile App.

I enter my homemade meals into the recipes section. I can adjust the ingredients if it's something I make often. If it's just a one time meal I just enter the ingredients into the log.

It's easy to add your recipe to the 'cookbook' portion of FatSecret - then you just choice that to add to your food diary - i don't put in the directions to the recipe, just the ingredients
