Plateau are nasty when you get into them...hard to break and can't always see why you have one....I was tweaking my fast weight loss last month and i screwed it up some how...i noticed rite way i had a plateau problem...it did not stop completely but what is .1 or .2 each day when before it was always 1/2 lb....The plateau is broken now and i am back at losing weight but i have to give the thanks to PHILMCK...he took about 1 minute to look at my food log and commented exactly what my problem was....two days later i am rocking again....How can you not love a guy that has lost 180lbs in a year....you don't get there by not knowing your stuff. I came here Jan.12th and copied his success and started to lose weight within a few days....25 lbs in two months. i am a different person thanks to him. some times we need to edifie and show our gratitude to the people most important to us....So i take my hat off to him...He can always be my friend.

Yes! Please do share the info. I noticed on your previous post you said to increase the fat and reduce the protein. Makes me wonder if the oil/fat is the fuel we burn?

What happened to me was my protein was getting too high and my fat was dropping....not by much but enough to not notice....protein is converted to carbs which put me in a small plateau. For the life of me i did not see the problem...philmck checked on my food log and made the comment to increase my fat intake. thats our main food you know for LCHF people. cut back on all the meat i am eating...i told him the reason is my 5 star kitchen is at fault. he laughed and the next day i change my eating, and on day two i was Mr big time keto again. hallelujah

Wow.... So okay... I am now putting a tablespoon of coconut oil and butter into my octane coffee instead of just a little smidgeon. And munching on pork rinds like never before. I only have 8 pounds left to get to goal... But those last 10 pounds are typically the hardest to shed. Then it will be maintenance mode. Wondering what the carb/sugar/ protein ratio should be then?
