Not a bad week all in all. Weight is pretty stationary although my eating has been OK. We've had a couple of mini dramas - my rotary washing line had corroded at the bottom of the pole and tipped over on top of me as I was getting the washing in. Me, line, washing and the dog all on the floor. To an onlooker it must have been very funny. Scared the dog to death and he walked muddy feet all over the clean damp washing trying to get out and what he didn't make a mess of I did. Had to wash it all again and nowhere to hang it! I ordered a super duper new one on line at 11.30 am on Wednesday and it arrived less than 24 hours later and free delivery! Talk about service. I only wish everything was as good. Its now cemented in and twirling away. Isn't it sad when a new rotary line gives such pleasure :)

Weather up to today has been super but Autumn is definitely here - there's an earthy smell in the air and the leaves are falling fast. They look so beautiful with all the different shades. I went for a walk yesterday and took a local footpath (there are lots around us) not knowing where it went. It was much harder than walking on the road but much more enjoyable. I didn't see another soul while I was out except pheasants, sheep and cows. The last mile was really steep and I didn't think I was going to make it. When I hit the road again I was miles from home and had to ring OH to come and pick me up. Knees and legs are definitely feeling it today. OH wasn't too happy either and gave me a lecture about going cross country on my own when he didn't know the route I was going and rabbited on about getting attacked Yada yada yada. Think he was annoyed about missing some of the qualifying laps for the grand prix!

Tomorrow starts a new week - have a super, happy, healthy eatin week

thank you for your coment on my journal! you made me laugh reading your story with the laundry, but I'm sure you were not so happy when it happened...have a great week too, and yes, it's not a bad idea to tell somebody where you're going when you go for a walk!
