I also do better if I eat the same thing all the time and it is within my calories and carbs.

Thanks Morticia! I really like the salad I make and it is filling. I'm afraid if I make it too often I'll get tired of it. That happened when I would stir fry daily a few years ago. But since I'm going to the dentist later nd the grocery store is in the same shopping center I'll go buy another bag of the salad mix for tomorrow.

Happy day 2. But I am not sure how that Dentist thing works for a happy day.

Thanks Liv! It's just a semi annual cleaning so it isn't too bad. Just have to get through about 20 minutes of it. I don't like the X-Ray S though.

Having some different salad dressings can help with keeping the salad updated. Also adding craisins or dates or some odd thing can change it enough to keep interest. Good luck, good to have a plan!

I think planning is the best way too. I will meal prep for the week and I use the recipe builder on FS so my macro's are all set and then I just grab and go and record it.

Good plan Fritzy! I too am repetitive in my meals. It's easier that way💜

Thanks Abba! Right now I am loving Ken's Steakhouse Asian sesame salad dressing. I have only found it on Amazon and just ordered another 4 bottles. I make the salad with won ton strips, sliced almonds, canned mandarin oranges and baked chicken breast. I just love it! Sometimes ill add dried cranberries or avocado

Thanks Redporchlady! It really helps when I have leftovers in the freezer. I cooked extra chicken breast the other day and froze it. Hope I like it!

Thanks Diana! I have to admit I bought 6 Lean Cuisines at WinCo the other day. I know I am supposed to avoid processed food, but I think it will help me on days when I don't feel like cooking or grocery shopping and keep me from eating a half box of graham crackers or something for video shouldn't - usually chips or bread with butter.

Fritzy I think something that would jump start you enjoying cooking more is to order some meal kits from Home Chef or one of the other providers. They send you all the ingredients with instructions on how to put together. They often have deals for first time users that are very cost effective. And because you basically eat one meal a day I think it would be perfect for you. The meal kits are generally two servings (suggested), but based on your calorie intact you could stretch that to four servings. They come with all the nutritional information, don’t take long to prepare and you can choose what type of meals you want to focus on.

***example maybe order 3-4 kits. Prepare them all and portion out into individual servings and freeze. You spend the time and effort making one meal but end up with several servings.

Thanks Honeebuns, I've thought about it but I am a super picky eater. Like those kids who only will eat chicken nuggets and pizza. Not really that bad but I'm not sure if a program like that would work for me and not much is available where I live. It's a rural area. As long as I keep cooking chicken ill be okay. While I eat some beef, the only other meat I eat is chicken and I also eat canned tuna.

I understand just throwing an idea out there for you. I hope you find a resolution to your knee issue soon.
