Not the prettiest or tastiest smoothie I've ever made, but 14 g fiber, 18 g protein & probiotics from the yogurt whey (one of my exceptions to plant based). Banana, whey, frozen strawberries & blueberries, hemp, flax, cocoa & arugula

Nutritionally, yep, are1981. Taste was a little tart and that zing of arugula cuts through everything. Still wasn't bad. Thanks! 😃

I always get 25gms of fiber a day and usually more. Today will be 32.8gms. Mostly from vegetables low to medium glycemic vegetables but some fruit and some beans and a few grains.

Good for you, Morticia! So few people get enough fiber. It's really good for your gut microbiome. I set my goal at 30, but I actually tend to get between 40 and 50 grams since I went mostly plant-based

I also like smoothies. Keep in mind that the body uses the act of chewing as part of registering satiation. Most people who are using them as part of a weight loss program report that they feel more satisfaction after eating, and that feeling stays with them longer, if they eat the same amount of calories worth of chewable food.

Kenna -- yep, definitely. I have smoothies occasionally, but they're not an everyday diet item for me for that reason. Maybe one every week or two. I know I stay more satiated longer on fewer calories with solid food. Plus, I hate cleaning the blender. 😉 You'll usually find me making smoothies when I'm struggling to get enough greens in, I have overripe bananas (BLECH! 🤢), or I'm out of fresh fruit and am down to frozen.

I used to drink a smoothie a day when I needed an extra 500 calories a day. chocolate syrup, banana, PB , yogurt. It was so good. Just can’t do that now, but once in a while——-

Tim -- high octane indeed! Nice to take out for a spin now and then, but most days I'll just tank up with regular and drive the speed limit 😜 Diana - thanks! 😃
