Three Days down-2 more to go of HELL WEEK. Must say I am doing well. It's not a lot different than my usual routine-less cardio too! The burpees are more like barfies though. I can't do more than 10 at a time and even then after about the second one my form stinks. I suspect thought that it will be the Sumo squats that prove to be the real killer-I expect to be fully immobilized by tomorrow.

I weigh 145 pounds though-what the eff is that about. I know I wasn't weighing myself but after a week I couldn't help myself. Awful! I don't feel like I gained weight-I do not even look like I gained weight. I can see my top two ribs if I look closely in the right lighting. I have to remember when I weighed 165-how I longed to be this weight and how I NEVER thought I get here.

I am feeling a bit blue this week-my cousin's son died over the weekend and I am worried about my friend suffering with brain cancer. Maybe depression weighs more than happiness?

maybe thats where the saying comes from- "the wieght on your shoulders"? I am sorry to hear about your worries. Burpees are a killer, I get dizzy from those. (did them for the first time in Cardio class last night) I think I almost threw up too. They are bad.

Changing your workout (or intensity) will cause you to retain fluids necessary for tissue repair. Don't worry about a "gain" right now.

agree w/ /0, and the plus is you don't even feel it!

I'm so sorry about your cousin's son and your friend. All that exercise is a great way to combat the sadness, though. Ignore the scale - how you feel and look are much better indicators! Totally agree with the fluid retention comment. That /0 is a smart cookie.
