For ten days now I have been going up and down the same pound. It is frustrating. I might need to do something different. Increase water. Cut back sodium. Increase sleep. Increase exercise. I guess all of these would be good. It was so easy at first. I guess now I find out what I am made of. Stick to my plan. No a happier note I am going to my grandsons' piano recital at noon hour so that should be a lot of fun. They are both quite good for their ages 12 and 10. Looking forward to it very much.

Definitely stay hydrated. I usually drink 50-70 ounces of H2O daily. I think we all get stuck, but just keep going. Portion control is also key. You can have "bad" food from time to time, just be aware of your portions.

I envy you the piano recital. 4 of my 7 grandchildren are or have been banders in school. 3 trumpets, 1 trombone, 1 clarinet. Marching Band is over for the year and concert band concerts are also, I think. Hope it goes well.

I am having the very same problem and trying the same thing. I restarted my diet the other day, was tired of seeing the same 1-2 lbs. i believe it was the slacking on the water that has me down. Good luck and hope we both see some progress soon!!

i am in touch with this - if you find what the secret is to breaking through - share! :) it'll happen, i am sure. the recitals and watching children perform and be proud is so fun. happy for you.

Im having this problem for 2 weeks...But today Im in the "minus" - what happened? I Just increased the protein intake (vegan protein powder) , went to the Gym and didn't eat after 7, and yes more water - 2 liters

Are you on Atkins? If you are on Atkins you might need more veggie carb. Your body might be holding onto that pound because you aren't eating enough. 12- 15 carbs should be veggies. Good luck!

Thank you everyone for your support and suggestions. I do need to eat more veggies. I will make sure I have lots for supper and snack. Will get on that. The recital was great. My older daughter, Allison, picked me up. My younger daughter, Jennifer, took me and her three kids to lunch at Wendy's, then to Walmart and the Dollar Store so the twins could use their birthday money. It was a great day all round.

Wendy's has great salads! My husband and I eat them every once and a while. Glad you had a great time..

I had the same issue the other week and finally I got down that pound! I always drink a lot of water, except on weekends so I stepped it up on the weekend and during the week I changed to drink EAS shake for lunch instead. I actually had to cut back on my vegies. I was overdoing it with them and not enough protein.
