13 years............so much has happened, yet it still feels like yesterday. I still remember everything I did, every thing I said and thought. The heartache and tears are still there, ever present. And I didn't even know anyone in the towers or planes or the brave souls who went in for them or even anyone affected directly for that matter. It's weird to think I was alive for such a horrific act, still doesn't seem real does it? You hear war stories and about genocide and horrible natural disasters, but it never really seems real. Because such awful things aren't possible in our world, or are they? The whole world mourns with us today, fellow Americans. I hope you all will take a moment, wherever you are in the world, and tell your families you love them and remember those who were taken too soon in such an ugly way. God Bless.
