I am so excited, only lived here for about 7 months and just now discovered my neighbors have a HUGH mulberry tree with branches hanging over in my yard, i been trying to find these wonderful berries i used to eat everyday as a kid on the way to and from school. Looked in stores everywhere and most people looked at me funny when asking them. they were like what is a mulberry? Just discovered them today ate about 4-5 mmmm i so miss that flavor.

They are volunteer trees in my hedge and all over where I live. I pick them and give them to people who will make me jelly.

There's a large mulberry tree on the path I walk every day at work. It's right on a busy highway. I've carried a ladder over there and set it on the sidewalk to pick them, I wonder what people think. They're good, and I've made wine with them too. A little weak on flavor for the wine so I go with some blueberries in addition to the mulberries.
