Rough day yesterday. My husband has been fighting cancer for five years. This last year, he lost his job and insurance while he was in the hospital. He is now on my insurance and disability. I am struggling with a balance of sympathy and encouragement. Unfortunately, last night, I did a bunch of emotional eating.

Sorry to read that it's been so rough. I had a few rough years myself and have only come through most of it since the beginning of 2014. All I can say is that the best way to be there for other people is to be there for ourselves and take good care of our needs as well. Don't give up hope, you can do this!
