Well I am now 3 days into week 5, I have been reading all the info on ketosis, and that it is not a good indicator to use ketone sticks. Since my curiosity got the best of me I bought some today and found that I was only putting out small amts of ketones. That was a major disappointment, especially since I have stuck with the plan pretty close to 100% everyday,so after a lot more research on here and the Carb Smart site I have decided to try a 3 day Fat Fast. I got some great recipe ideas from the Carb Smart site and will start tomorrow. Yes I am losing, but I want to see how much better I can do with my body working in full ketosis.

Just read about the fast - let me know how it goes. I'll take a look at your menu when you're done and see if I can do that... I already have made the switch to really high fat and very low carb and that works for me. I don't know that I need to go to low calorie as well but it's good to see it as an option. I'm going to continue with this longer than I've done in the past few weeks - I'd do about 3 days and then lose weight so then I'd cheat and cheat and then start it again. I'm going to see what happens if I don't cheat <gasp> :)
