First weigh-in with new home scale. Made 1.5 lb adjustment to starting weight at dr’s office for clothing. It’s close enough! Is it possible I lost 2.5 lbs in 2 weeks on < 1300 calories/day?

Gosh I hope so!

Being able to budget for meals ahead of time is so... empowering? Knowing I could eat the junior cheeseburger at Wendy’s on Friday during our “day out in the world” and adjust the rest of the day’s intake to stay on track was great.

Now watching fiber and sodium intake as well as researching healthy food choices to mitigate cholesterol and kidney concerns.

Here is yesterday’s beef curry and peppers from the crockpot (other veggies added).

Will put the scale away now and focus on Week 3. Some fresh air and a nice walk would do me a lot of good.
