Day 1060 Bootcamp (I know but it feels that long!)

Not much to report. Doing oh so much better on no sugar or refined carbs though. And this when I am very stressed out. When I am pmsing I am much more sensitive than usual to people and their funny little ways. I get offended very easily and then the mental tabulating of past offenses begins. Hopefully, it will pass before it gets out of my mind and into my mouth.

Took beastie out today-very windy but incredibly sunny and clear. Cold here though-we barely got to 60! Ha! Sorry to all my cold weather friends.

I am suspicious that Beast may have a touch of salmonella (is it possible to have a touch?). Anyhoo, I stopped giving him the peanut butter biscuits and kept him on the rice/cottage cheese and he seems to be doing better.

Making eggplant lasagna for me and clams with pasta for the SU. Can't wait.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I can relate to the PMS sensitivity! I hope you feel better soon. I see you had cream of wheat for breakfast. Me, too! Do you love it as much as I do? It's such a comfort food for me. Your eggplant lasagna sounds wonderful. Hope you enjoy!

What is wrong with the beast that he is eating rice and cottage cheese? It reminds me of a time when our big dog got hit by a motorcycle (believe me it what the motorcycle drivers fault..he lost control and came into our driveway to hit our dog..while we were on our way to our mailbox.).. anyway... she lost a lot of blood and had her jaw broken and wired.. so she was eating rice, scrambled eggs and I made a "liver pate" for her in the blender and I added a touch of red wine to help get her blood work going better... everyone thought the dog was eating better than them and wanted some live pate. You know what I have decided would help us?! Is not looking at how long it is taking us to lose weight but instead just keep focusing on our goal.. keep that goal in sight and not gain anything back that we have lost. From now on if I see a weight fluctuation go up I will be ON IT!!! Maybe a liquid fast for a day (as long it is not more than one day per week).. or something very strict. Let's just do it girl, lets reach our goals once and for all! WE can do this!

J-sent you an email re: beast. What a devoted doggy mum you are! See if I had my jaw wired, I'd live on milk shakes and frozen daquaris! I once broke my legs one after the other-really-broke the second one the day after I got the cast off the first! I was so miserable and hot-think New Jersey in July, all I wanted was icy drinks. Gained 30 lbs. Fortunately, I was young and lost it quickly. Yes-agree on the "action" button always being on hand. I am still two pounds off from my lowest point. Hoping that post TOM water drainage will alleviate that! Just got back from a walk-sunset today was just okay. NO SUGAR today!!!! We will get there-first one there has to reach back for the other one and drag her to the finish line. No buddy left behind.

Glad you got out for your walk. The eggplant lasagna sounds good. So does the clams & pasta. Put out a plate for me. I'll be right over! LOL Good idea keeping the peanut butter biscuits away from Beast seeing as there is a peanut butter recall going on right now.

I think you should share your eggplant lasagna recipe. Yes.. whoever gets to goal first will have to help drag the other one to the finish line, its a deal. No buddy left behind!

The eggplant lasagna should be in recipes. I know I submitted and it was approved. Although I did use ricotta this time instead of cottage cheese-I'm Sicilian-sue me!
